Wake Up to Your Life
Practice Group
The WUTYL Practice group complements the Cultivating Attention group. We study topics that are of interest to group members and focus on creating a supportive environment in which group members can help one another come to an increased awareness of their own lives.
The group is currently exploring the contemplative meditations
from chapter four and beyond
of
Ken McLeod’s book, “Wake up to your Life: Discovering the
Buddhist Path of Attention.” We have found that the meditations
have helped us begin to move through many of our deepest fears and
to loosen some
of our most strongly entrenched habitual patterns, emerging more awake
and
alive in the process.
The Practice group meets twice monthly at times that are suitable for most
group members. It is open to anyone who has had a consistent meditation
practice for at
least
one
year.
